This is the second time I've been to Thailand. This time for a long weekend. Next time FOR LIFE!
![]() avgstreet.jpg 61.94 Kb Here's an average street in a small town. Thought you might find the Sanskrit sign interesting. |
This is Bee, a nice girl who didn't mind showing me around, and helping me understand some of the Thai customs. |
![]() carry.jpg 64.37 Kb Food is everywhere, and delicious. |
This is a "spirit house." A mini-shrine where locals will give small donations to Buddha or other spirits. I can't stress this enough: Thailand is what you could call a "fluid situation." As you can see in this picture, a donation of a Fanta (orange) is ok... |
![]() feast.jpg 45.00 Kb Again, food is everywhere. Here's a street side "meal on wheels" |
![]() food.jpg 63.06 Kb More food for your viewing pleasure. This trip, I was extra cautious, but if I lived in Thailand, I'd enjoy sampling. |
![]() hotlunch2go.jpg 45.67 Kb This lady is walking along the beach, honking that horn. That's a small hibachi style cooker she's carrying. |
![]() infra.jpg 55.30 Kb Hmmm, I wonder if Thailand could use some infrastructure improvements? Mai pen rai - no worries. |
![]() kids.jpg 54.38 Kb Here are some kids playing on the beach. Check out the snazzy haircuts. |
![]() lazyboats.jpg 42.68 Kb Just a shot to help you catch the feeling. |
![]() moresun.jpg 14.46 Kb It was a sad trip to the airport. But, the sunrise was spectacular. |
![]() oj-on-wheels.jpg 41.33 Kb Hello. Orange juice anyone. |
